She moved to Ireland in early 2017, where she completed her Masters (MSc) in Social Structure and Social Change at the school of sociology at Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, with her study focusing on contemporary migration movements. Josi has experience in the third sector as a social psychologist working with marginalized communities in Brazil and currently as a psychotherapist at an NGO in Dublin specializing in welcoming immigrant refugees and asylum seekers who are survivors of torture.

Josi is currently taking a Continuing Training Course in Psychoanalysis offered by the Freud Lacan institute (Fli). She is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

Josi uses the psychoanalytic approach, the same approach as Dr. Fabiola Neto, and together to offer psychological support and psychotherapy to adults in Dublin at the Tree of Life Clinic or online.
